Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) is a special 2-month residential program designed and conducted by Chinmaya Mission Acharyas to equip CHYKs with the skills and knowledge to pursue and succeed in all aspects of their lives including study, work, familial relationships, team building, and more. Attendee CHYKs have the chance to experience living in a spiritual and disciplined environment as a family for a period of two months, giving them a solid foundation for the rest of their lives. The program imparts a deeper understanding of Vedanta, hands on training in various aspects (workshops, study groups etc), Vedic chanting, Sanskrit, organizational skills and public speaking. The CHYKs thus trained are known as Yuvaveers, the flag-bearers of Chinmaya Mission in future.
