CMLA is delighted to announce the 2023 yatra
Explore Kerala
with Swami Ishwarananda
October 27 – November 10, 2023
According to Hindu mythology, Sage Parashurama, the incarnation of Vishnu, the creator of the world, created Kerala with his axe. He threw the axe in the water, and the water receded to make the place of land which is the modern Kerala.
Chinmaya Mission Los Angeles invites you to join the yatra and visit all important temples of Kerala and Kanyakumari Mandir, to relax in Kovalam beach, to enjoy the peaceful Munnar and Tekadi mountains and also to witness live Kathakali dance performances. Mark your trails as you enter the memorial heritage sites and ride along the backwaters of Kerala.
Yatra will start in Kochi on October 27 and end in Trivandrum on November 10.
Registration

Submit separate pre-registration for each yatri.
Pre-registration submissions are subject to approval by CMLA Yatra Team. Aspiring yatris MUST pre-register to be considered. Phone and in-person requests will not be considered. Submissions will be reviewed strictly on a first-cum-first basis. Decisions will be communicated within 2 days on the registered email ID. Ensure that there are no typos while submitting your email ID during registration.
You will receive an email from yatra@chinmayala.org. The email will also contain the payment link to use for submitting the registration deposit to confirm your reservation. Yatra slot will be confirmed only after the registration deposit has been made following the approval of pre-registration. Approval will be strictly on a first-cum-first basis.
Please note: All yatris are expected to be present on all days of the yatra unless an unexpected exigency arises during the yatra days. Yatris are not permitted to join the group midway into the yatra. Please contact the yatra team for any concerns regarding your schedule limitations prior to submitting your registration.
Total Yatra Cost & Payment Schedule
Total yatra cost will cover boarding, lodging, and travel for 14 days starting from October 27 (PM) in Kochi until November 10 (AM) in Trivandrum.
An early bird special is being offered if the non-refundable registration deposit is received at CMLA on or before April 15, 2023, following the approval of pre-registration. Do not miss this opportunity to save!

Yatra registration fees must be received at CMLA by April 30, 2023. If registration dues are not received at CMLA by April 30, 2023, the registration will be cancelled and the reserved slot will be released to the waitlisted yatris.
All remaining dues must be cleared by July 25, 2023.
Outlined cost does not cover international airfare, any visa needs or travel/medical insurance.
Cancellation Policy
- Registration fee is non-refundable. A tax donation receipt will be issued by CMLA Finance to the payer at the end of the year.
- Cancellation charges of the international flight itinerary, if done by A Premier Travel, will be as per the policy of the international airlines.
- Should you need to cancel your reservation after making the final payment, the following terms will apply:
- Cancellation made between July 26, 2023 and August 28, 2023: 75 % of total tour and accommodations price will be refunded.
- Cancellation made between August 29, 2023 and September 11, 2023: 50 % of total tour and accommodations price will be refunded.
- Cancellation made between September 12, 2023 and September 28, 2023: 25 % total total tour and accommodations price will be refunded.
- No refunds for any cancellation made on or after September 29, 2023.
