Sri Rama Navami is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Vishnu, on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri. Chaitra Navratri is a festival of nine days dedicated to nine forms of Goddess Shakti. The festival has a special significance at Chinmaya Rameshwaram since Lord Rama is a presiding deity in the temple.

About Arvind Srinivas

Arvind is blessed to dedicate his debut carnatic vocal concert to Lord Rama on the auspicious occasion of Ramanavami. His musical inclination was identified early, diligently coached and patiently mentored by his dedicated guru, Smt. Padma Kutty over the past ten years. His passion for music extends to Veena, Piano, Choir and Percussion. A senior at Northwood High School, Arvind has also been under the guidance of our beloved Swami Ishwarananda throughout our Bala Vihar Program from kindergarten.
