Due to the current epidemic, the puja event is not open for public to participate in.
Lord Shiva is one of the three aspects of Brahman. He is worshipped for grace to sublimate our evil tendencies and to give us the ability to transcend all dualities and attain liberation.
Every Monday, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Rudrabhishekam will be conducted for the Shivalingam installed at Rameshwaram with the chanting of Rudram and Chamakam
Puja will be followed by Prasad. Anyone interested to sponsor the puja can bring flowers and milk for the worship.
Children below 10 years should be accompanied by a parent/guardian and will remain in the custody of the parent/guardian at all times.
Temple is a sacred place only for worship. No use of cell phones/video games/toys are allowed
No food or drink should be brought into the temple for consumption in the temple. Prasad is to be kept at the altar for the priest to offer. Food consumption will be only at the specified location
Temple does not allow adults (15+) to wear shorts/skirts. Shoulders should be covered.
No alcohol or non-vegetarian food allowed in the premises.
